Credit Controller - Winnersh - 4 week contract (could be extended)- £14 - £16 per hour + holiday pay Role OverviewThe Credit Controller is responsible for managing and collecting a high-value aged debt ledger ranging between £3 million and £6 million. This role requires a proactive and persistent approach to collections, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to reduce overdue balances while maintaining positive customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesDebt Collection & Ledger ManagementTake full ownership of an aged debt portfolio valued between £3m-£6mProactively chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written communicationPrioritise and manage high-risk and significantly overdue accountsNegotiate payment plans and settlements where appropriateMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer account recordsCash Flow & Risk ReductionWork to reduce debtor days (DSO) and improve overall cash flowIdentify potential bad debts early and escalate where necessaryMonitor customer payment behaviour and flag credit risksSupport the preparation of weekly/monthly aged debt reportsRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
