The Bid Writer will be responsible for supporting the creation and development of high-scoring proposals. This includes analytical research, response planning, bid writing, editing, reviewing, and proofreading. Working as part of a wider bid team, the bid writer will collaborate closely with bid managers, estimators, planners, operational support, and proposals colleagues to: Develop persuasive and engaging responses that go beyond client expectations, incorporating tangible benefits, clear commitments, and relevant evidence Embed the winning strategy within proposals, addressing client priorities and integrating strong, consistent win themes Fully understand and respond to client questions and evaluation criteria with tailored, relevant content Provide input and constructive challenge throughout answer planning and review stages The role demands a proactive, adaptable, and agile individual who can operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
