Job OverviewWe’re currently hiring for a Content Writer/Digital Marketing Executive to work at our offices in Sittingbourne, Kent. We are in search of a bold, creative voice to guide brand communications across a diverse mix of marketing channels, with a strong focus on HubSpot, LinkedIn, and editorial content. The purpose of this position is to optimise marketing activities & manage all written material we create for business purposes. This role is for someone who can harness the voice, style, and tone of the various offerings our company represents.Responsibilities and DutiesWrite, manage, and edit product-related copy across multiple channels.Write and proofread blog posts.Create promotional copy for online ads, banners, brochures, and social networks.Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy and campaigns.Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.Collaborate with design team to create visually engaging content.Update and maintain our website, as needed.Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of our company.Advise on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issuesGather feedback from sales and analysing customer behaviour to refine our company’s positioning.HubSpot Marketing Campaigns:Develop, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns using HubSpot.Optimise campaigns based on performance analytics and data insights.Create and maintain landing pages, forms, and workflows.Qualifications• A consistent record of crafting solid copy across several mediums.• Copywriting samples; a portfolio of published articles is a plus• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field• Must have 2+ year’s experience in content writing or related field• Proficiency in using HubSpot for email marketing, lead generation, and analytics.• Interest in industry• Familiarity with trade press and editorial processes.• Experience using social media for business• Understanding of marketing business functions such as design, collateral, branding, copywriting, public relations, events, paid and organic media.• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems• Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software (e.g. HubSpot)• An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way• Research skills to produce high-quality content• An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces• Data-driven thinking & resourceful• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills• Excellent people skills• Ideal candidate has a collaborative/self-starter approach, with no job deemed “too small
