There will be a full MDT including psychologist, assistant psychologist, occupational therapist, technical instructor, social work input, and a junior doctor. The ward will join our pre-existing male medium secure wards to expand capacity, and will work closely with the other wards. Tallis is a specialist admission and stabilisation unit for adult men with a formal psychiatric or neurological diagnosis of brain injury that may have resulted in cognitive deficits or behavioural changes that in turn require neurobehavioral treatment in an in-patient setting Redwood: Redwood is a 10-bed ward and part of our specialist dementia hub, The setting represents a significant step forward in the care and support of people with dementia who present with complex behaviours, or may have restrictions imposed by the MHA or criminal justice service.
