Chartered Building Surveyor - Manchester CTJ48Manchester £55,000 - £65,000 An established and highly regarded property consultancy is currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its Manchester-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to become part of a collaborative environment, working across a diverse range of sectors and projects. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services, contributing to high-profile schemes, including Net Zero projects, and playing a key role in client management and project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Delivering a range of Building Surveying duties across multiple sectorsManaging client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basisConducting building pathology assessmentsDesign and specification of projects, including those aligned with Net Zero goalsFull project management responsibilities, including pre- and post-contract dutiesCarrying out Due Diligence Surveys and Condition SurveysPerforming Contract Administration dutiesApplying standard forms of building contracts, ideally JCT and NECActing as a Designer under CDM Regulations with a strong understanding of health and safety requirements Requirements: BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from an RICS-accredited programFull membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)Proven, well-rounded experience in Building SurveyingExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to travel regionally and occasionally beyondStrong knowledge of industry developments and best practicesProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to produce, format, and edit professional documentsGood working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Revit and an awareness of BIM is an advantageA full understanding of Health and Safety regulations and compliance If you are interested in this Chartered Building Surveyor role, please send your CV to
