Compliance Manager Location: London (Hybrid - In office 1-2 days a week) My client is looking for an experienced and driven Compliance Manager to join a rapidly growing London-based fintech with ambitious plans for expansion. This is a pivotal role where you’ll ensure all regulatory requirements are met, maintain high standards of compliance, and support the business in navigating the complex landscape of the mortgage industry. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the compliance function, ensuring activities are in line with regulations and internal policies.Ensure all relevant staff are SM&CR compliant and provide KPI data to sales teams.Refine, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance policies and procedures.Act as the firm’s SMF16 function, managing all aspects of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.Oversee and manage regulatory reporting, ensuring timely submissions.Liaise with regulatory bodies, particularly the FCA, ensuring compliance with their requirements.Conduct internal audits to maintain regulatory standards.Stay current on industry developments and proactively adjust the company’s compliance framework.Train and educate staff on compliance matters and foster a culture of compliance.
