Compliance Associate
This is an opportunity to join the Compliance team for a leading manufacturer of chemical products, and play a key role in upholding the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance. With increasing demand and a growing portfolio, they are looking for a Compliance Associate to support their Compliance Manager in managing and developing our compliance systems. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain integrated management systems (IMS) in line with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards Assist in internal audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through Help ensure compliance with chemical regulations including CLP, COSHH, and SDS authoring Participate in health and safety initiatives and compliance checks across the site Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and safety data Engage in ongoing learning, including mandatory training and qualifications Required Qualifications & Skills: Essential: Internal Auditor qualification in ISO9001, ISO14001, or ISO45001 IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to undertake upon employment) Enthusiasm to complete further training and development Science-based A levels or technical degree (Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, etc.) Desirable: NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Experience or qualifications in: CLP (Classification, Labelling & Packaging) COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) SDS (Safety Data Sheet authoring) Who Are They Looking For: You might be a graduate starting your career, or someone with hands-on compliance experience.
