Compliance Analyst City of LondonPermanent/Office based 5 days p/week£40,000 pacer Financial are working alongside a bank based in the City of London. They are looking for a Compliance Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis who will be office based 5 days per week.The successful candidate will need to assist the Compliance function and the Senior Manager, Monitoring, Testing and Governance in delivering BAU activities and strategic objectives.The responsibilities of a Compliance Analyst will include:Conduct Monitoring and Testing thematic and periodic reviews as per the timescales outlined in the Compliance Monitoring and Testing plan.Update the Monitoring and Testing Action Tracker, ensure action completion by the action owners and document suitable evidence of action closure.Maintain the Compliance Policy register and assist the senior manager in updating Compliance Policies where required.Assist the Senior Manager, Monitoring, Testing and Governance and Head of Compliance/MLRO with ad-hoc projects or tasks when requested to do so.Support the Compliance team, with the delivery of the banks vision for compliance and complement the actions of the other team members de-risking the bank and in striving to make the department cross functional.Contribute to team and department meetings as required and assist the Senior Manager, Monitoring, Testing and Governance in forward thinking to improve processes and procedures.Helping with oversight of the KYC process and compliance with the AML program;Helping to provide day-to-day support to the global MLROs and business relating to the AML, CTF, ABC, and Sanctions processes;The successful Compliance Analyst will have:Some experience in compliance, monitoring and testing, KYC and thematic reviews

We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Compliance Analyst vacancy in the London office of a leading US law firm.Working as part of the global Client Intake team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administrative onboarding of new clients and matters, with a focus on compiling and reviewing know-your-client due diligence under applicable anti-money laundering regulations.Duties will include:Supporting with AML processes for new and existing clients, ongoing client monitoring, sanctions checks and other risk management procedures.Responding to AML queries from lawyers and staff worldwideConfirming adequate AML documentation is obtained by the Firm for all new clientsCollaborating with Compliance Attorneys to perform due diligence on low, medium and higher-risk clients and matters and elevating such cases to the Firm’s MLROMonitoring risk training recordsUpdating AML manuals, Office Risk Assessments and the AML intake form as neededKeeping up to date with changes in UK and EU AML regulations and/or associated regulatory guidanceAssisting with key compliance-based projects as neededSuitable applicants will have gained prior experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment, display familiarity with international environments and possess excellent teamworking skills.Familiarity with Intapp Open is also essential.A competitive salary is on offer and this is a permanent position, with hybrid working arrangements.Please do not delay in applying as the 2-stage interview process will shortly be commencing.
