Their Head Office is ideally located in North Leicestershire, offering excellent accessibility.As part of the company’s continued expansion, NRG has been appointed to support the recruitment of a Company Accountant to join this dynamic and forward-thinking group.Reporting directly to the Finance & Operations Director, this is a pivotal, hands-on role with day-to-day ownership of the company’s accounting function, alongside leadership responsibility across Finance and Payroll.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:Supporting the day-to-day leadership of the Finance and Payroll functions across the groupProducing monthly management accounts, including commentary and analysis for DirectorsPreparing and posting month-end journals, and maintaining prepayments and accrualsFull maintenance of the fixed asset registerReviewing and enhancing KPIs and management information to support business performanceManaging company bank accounts, overseeing cash flow and liquidityProducing detailed cashflow forecastsEnsuring robust credit control processes and management of direct debitsCompleting balance sheet and bank reconciliationsHandling intercompany accounting, recharges and balance clearingOversight responsibility for offshore teams covering Purchase, Sales and General LedgersMonitoring weekly and monthly payrolls (PAYE) for up to 2,500 employeesProviding ad hoc financial support and analysis to the Finance & Operations Directors to help drive business improvementThe Ideal CandidateFormally qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar roleQBE or Part Qualified candidates will also be considered where relevant experience is clearly demonstratedStrong IT skills, particularly Excel (including Pivot Tables and Lookups)Experience of Sage Line 50 / Sage Line 200 and Sage Payroll is highly desirablePrevious experience within Healthcare, Care Homes, Private Hospitals or similar regulated environments would be a significant advantageHands-on, commercially minded and confident working closely with senior stakeholdersThe PackageIn return, this role offers a varied, challenging and progressive opportunity within a growing organisation, with a competitive package of:£55,000 – £65,000 basic salary (DOE)Annual bonusExcellent benefits and long-term career development potential
