About The Role:Days of Working: 12 hour shifts across a variable rotaAs a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislationAs part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Act as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly serviceMonitor fire, security, and building systemsEnsure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, meeting relevant legislationConduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premisesRespond promptly to any security incidents or emergenciesMaintain accurate records of incidents and activitiesCollaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverageComprehensive knowledge of the site's policies & procedures is necessary in order to take the correct action following any incident up to and including major incidents.Gatehouse duties - covering shifts at the client's three gatehouses in Burton on Trent.Full training will be given to the successful candidate The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You must have the right to work in the UKExperience of working within the Security Industry is an advantageSIA licence is essentialAbility to work on own initiativeA professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrityStrong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressureReliable and punctual, with a strong work ethicFull UK driving licenseKnowledge and ability to input data accurately in IT systems How to Apply: If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest!
