Marketing Communications Assistant
Trading since 1989, e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK's number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Northern Ireland. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers. In the role of Marketing Communications Assistant you will undertake a range of marketing activities, both internal and external, in order to build brand recognition and develop company reputation to support e.surv’s growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities: Internal communicationsCopywritingSharepoint management and updatesDesign / Formatting of emails (currently MailChimp)Event deliveryReport formatting and supplier managementBrand protection Other Accountabilities: Assist in the development, execution, and evaluation of the marketing communications strategic and tactical plan.Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of internal and external marketing events.Help to develop and implement an effective, content-driven digital marketing strategy, including the development of content for the website and all social media channels.Coordinate the design and production of marketing collateral.In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, craft and publish media content including case studies, media responses, guides and social media content.Design collateral to support employee engagement campaigns and updates.Build and manage assets such as corporate photography.Assist the Head of Marketing Communications with a variety of internal and external PR tasks.Ensure brand standards are maintained across all marketing activities.Help to build and maintain a strong, consistent corporate identity.Build effective internal relationships to develop and gain prompt approval of marcoms content.Develop a clear understanding of e.surv’s products, customer proposition, competition and markets.Adhere to Quality Management guidelines, as directed, in line with the framework of ISO 9001.Ensure own H&S, and that of colleagues by complying with both legal and policy requirements.Highlight to the line manager any concerns regarding conflicting duties or areas of responsibility. Essential - Technical Skills, Knowledge and Expertise (relating to specialist knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role).
