JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide effective support services to the firm. Duties will include: Draft closing documents and assist solicitors with a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, drafting new leases, lease renewals, developments, deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed summaries and reports.Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.Maintain accurate and organised case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.Manage the preparation and submission of documents for real estate closings, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.Assist in the formation and maintenance of entities related to real estate holdings, including drafting operating agreements and resolutions.Maintain organised and up-to-date case files, including electronic records in the document management system.Assist with post-closing matters, including finalising documents, updating records, and resolving any outstanding issues. The Company Commercial team deal with a wide range of matters for clients including business start-ups and sale and purchases of business and management buy-outs. They also deal with commercial agreements, intellectual property, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and share options and offer advice on corporate matters including restructuring, mergers and corporate governance. We are looking for a confident candidate with a keen interest in this area of law. You must have excellent client facing skills and be able to work to high standards of professionalism. You must also be able to work as a team member with fee-earners and support staff and across the wider firm.
