Role OverviewAs a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll be the backbone of our client's servicing team. Working alongside the Account Manager and Directors, you’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are expertly handled from quotation to renewal.You’ll liaise with insurers, negotiate terms, and be the day-to-day contact for clients — providing advice, support, and solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations across a wide range of commercial policies (e.g. construction, liability, haulage, motor fleet, logistics)Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring outstanding service deliveryLiaise with insurers to obtain competitive terms and cover optionsProvide technical insurance advice to clients Ensure complianceMaintain accurate and up-to-date records on the broking system (e.g., Acturis) What We’re Looking ForEssential:Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial insurance account handling role (broker or insurer-side)Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance classesExcellent communication and client relationship skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsProficient in using broking systems and Microsoft OfficeAble to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable:Experience with ActurisExposure to complex or niche commercial risks
