However, it is envisioned that you will be personally responsible for handling clients from a range of industry sectors such as construction, manufacturing and engineering, typically paying in excess of £50K GWP, and often with premium spends well over £100K. In addition, you will be responsible for helping with the training and development of Apprentices and less-experienced Account Handlers. We welcome applications from candidates who are happy to help oversee junior colleagues on an ad-hoc basis, as well as those who wish to join as a Team Leader and be responsible for junior colleagues on a more formal basis; allocating workloads, coaching & mentoring, and conducting 1-2-1’s.It is essential that you have a good understanding of all common commercial covers and are comfortable dealing with clients from a variety of sectors, both blue and white collar. You must also have excellent communication, task-management and organisational skills.
