Swimming Coach Needed for Outstanding Primary School in High Barnet Are you passionate about swimming and eager to inspire young learners? A welcoming primary school in High Barnet is seeking a dedicated Swimming Coach to lead engaging lessons for children aged 6-11. This role is a maternity cover starting in September, with the potential for a permanent position. Position Details: Location: High Barnet, London Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Maternity cover with potential for permanent employment Working Hours: Full-time or part-time, during school hours Hourly Pay: £16.50-£19.00, depending on experience and qualifications Key Responsibilities: Deliver structured swimming lessons to primary-aged pupils on-site Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants Adapt teaching methods to support pupils with additional needs/SEND Collaborate with school staff to integrate swimming into the broader curriculum Qualifications and Requirements: Essential: Level 2 Swimming Coach Certificate (Swim England or STA) Preferred: Lifeguarding certification (support available if needed) Mandatory: Valid Enhanced DBS (assistance provided if necessary) Experience teaching children, particularly those aged 6-11 Familiarity with supporting pupils with additional needs/SEND Must be able to reliably commute to High Barnet Why Join Us?
