Salary: up to £90,000 Depending On ExperienceHolidays: 25 days + Bank HolidaysLocation: Liverpool - Hybrid working Working: Full Time Permanent Benefits: Excellent Bonus & Company Car Allowance The Role:As Client Director, you will be entrusted with servicing key clients and delivering exceptional value while driving new business opportunities. You will act as a strategic partner, providing expert guidance, broking support, and innovative insurance solutions. This is a senior, high-impact role with the potential for career progression within Manchester and across the wider Verlingue Group. Main Responsibilities to Include:Client Relationship Management Take ownership of your client portfolio, overseeing service and broking coordination.Build long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor.Strategically plan and execute client management initiatives, liaising with Account Chairmen as required.Facilitate introductions and ongoing management across Claims, Risk Management, Credit, Employee Benefits, and Private Clients teams.Lead client visits and deliver bespoke Client Service Plans.Ensure all client policies are clearly communicated, including coverage, conditions, and limitations.Participate in and oversee client entertainment activities.Manage credit control and agree appropriate remuneration with clients. New Business Development Create and maintain an active pipeline using Acturis.Identify client needs, design tailored insurance programmes, and collect underwriting information.Collaborate with brokers on strategy and sign off broking presentations. Renewal Management Develop renewal strategies for all clients, ensuring updates to cover requirements and programme design.Maintain fact-find and underwriting information, reviewing formally every three years or during re-broking.Liaise with brokers on re-broking strategy and sign off presentations. The Ideal Candidate:Essential: Cert CII qualified (Dip CII desirable)Significant experience in corporate insurance, preferably in General Commercial LinesProven track record in client relationship management and business developmentStrong communication, influencing, negotiation, and leadership skillsCustomer-focused with exceptional interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, driven, and target-orientedTeam player with a collaborative approachExperience with Acturis systemAbility to manage a target book of £250,000 comprised of smaller corporate cases (<£7,500 fee income) Desirable: Previous Client Executive experience within a corporate brokerDemonstrated ability to take on higher responsibilities and deliver exceptional resultsUnderstanding of European insurance markets
