We have a great opportunity to join us as Clerk of Works – Property Maintenance & Technical Assurance in Wembley. Combining office and home working, and site visits across the Wembley and Herts area. The Role As Clerk of Works, you'll play a vital role in ensuring quality and compliance within our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and Planned Works programs. You'll perform site inspections, ensure adherence to building standards, provide technical advice, and liaise with contractors and customers to maintain project momentum. Responsibilities include: Performing frequent inspections at project sites to assess construction quality, ensuring that works align with contractual specifications, building standards, and design detailsLogging inspection reports, issuing reports for non-compliance, and maintaining a comprehensive audit trail. You'll need to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and exceptional attention to detail, focusing on retrofitting and energy efficiency improvements.
