If so, we are excited to be representing a long established client with a new Claims Handler role. Managing the end to end processing of claims and supporting customers throughout their journey. Duties will include: Providing guidance and support to customers who want to make a claim on their motor insurance policyTaking the customer’s personal details, contact information and vehicle detailsAsking relevant questions to gather the necessary information and evidence for the claimChecking the customer’s policy terms and conditions and verifying their eligibility for coverageLiaising with other parties involved in the claim, such as witnesses, police, repairers, solicitors, medical experts and other insurersNegotiating with the customer and the third party to reach a fair and satisfactory settlementAuthorising and issuing payments for valid claimsIdentifying and investigating any potential fraud or suspicious activityKeeping accurate records of all communications and transactions related to the claimUpdating the customer on the progress and status of their claim You will: Have prior experience in Motor ClaimsKnowledge of motor insurance products and regulations Attractive benefits package, hybrid working once training is completed and salary from 25k per annum.
