St Andrew’s Birmingham is a 118 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and public transport. We require an experienced chef for our Birmingham Site. You will be expected to work as part of a multifunctional team to prepare high quality hot and cold food for lunch and dinner, working to strict deadlines, complying to health & Safety and food safety regulations. You must also:- Hold a current food hygiene certificate and relevant certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent.Proven work experience as a Chef or CookBe passionate about food and serviceHands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)Be able work closely with Dieticians to establish what textured foods are required within the serviceBe able to interface with Services users, Staff and visitorsBe able to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.Be capable of ordering food – ability to use Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
