Purpose The purpose of this role is to competently provide financial advice to clients within compliant guidelines of both the Regulator and the Firm and achieve their financial goals. You will be their trusted Financial Advisor and play a lead role within the business. Package Details The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £80,000 - £100,000 Other benefits include: Attractive annual bonusAll clients provided.Full admin and paraplanning support.You will be working for a chartered multi award winning business with amazing culture.Hybrid home/office working structure.Death in ServiceHealth insuranceExams and professional development monetary supportPrivate medical insurance Duties and Responsibilities: To generate new business and build relationships but also nurture existing relationships with both clients and colleagues.You will examine and suggest financial opportunities and customise financial plans dependent on clients’ budgets and changing needs and maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices, and financial products.Compile accurate investment reports that reflect client requirements and meet internal business standards.Undertake regular fact-finding, presentations and service review meetings with clients.Maintain and ensure client files are kept up to date.Follow up on all enquiries in a timely manner.Ensure on-going and continuous professional development.Always comply with the requirements of the FCA Principles, Rules and Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons.To always maintain a Statement of Professional Standing from an approved accredited body.To comply with the requirement to protect clients’ data in line with Data Protection Regulation.Cultivate existing client base to generate further opportunities for referral and new business.The opportunity to take an active role in the firm’s Investment Committee reviewing its Central Investment Proposition and exploring alternative options. The Ideal Employee: Skills You must be Level 6 Chartered through the Cii.You must have at least 2 years of Advising experience with CAS StatusYou will have the required skills in Adobe, Word, Excel and Outlook, alongside other system specific knowledge, to create all necessary documentation, templates and reports to brand guidelines.You will have a working knowledge of core financial products including pensions, ISAs, Investment Accounts, Investment Bonds, Venture Capital Trusts, Enterprise Investment Schemes and all forms of protection.To be aware of all relevant FCA regulations and guidelines relating to financial services including MiFID II, GDPR & PRIIPS.To have experience of cash-flow planning tools.Excellent organisation, communication, and numeracy skills both written and oral.The ability to work accurately under pressure of tight deadlines. To have a forward-looking, can-do attitude when dealing with client instructions.Keep up to date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
