Role: Careers Advisor Contract: Full Time, TemporarySalary: £14.33 - £15.75 per hour (including holiday pay)Location: Birmingham A college in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Careers Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. You will work closely with students to provide guidance and support on career pathways, employability skills, and progression opportunities. This role is full time 36.5 hours per week term time only Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality careers advice and guidance to students across a range of courses.Support learners with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.Provide information on progression routes, including further study and employment opportunities.Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external employers to enhance student employability. Requirements: Experience providing careers advice within an educational setting.A relevant qualification in Careers Guidance (Level 6 or equivalent) or significant advisory experience.Strong knowledge of progression routes and employability skills.Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
