They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join their team. This school offers Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care. This qualification aims to provide an introduction to the sector. This qualification is suited to learners who are interested in learning about the Health and Social Care sector as part of a balanced study programme. It is equivalent in value and scope to one A Level. The qualification supports access to a range of higher education courses possibly, but not exclusively, in health and social care, if taken alongside further Level 3 qualifications. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students at BTEC level.* Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and the latest educational standards.* Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.* Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and understanding.* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Requirements: * A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field, or experience teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC level.* Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Teacher, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.* Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and current educational practices.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.* Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.* A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
