Field Care Supervisor

For over 60 years, Reed has been proud and privileged to provide person-centred direct care and support services to vulnerable adults, children, young people, and families in the community.The key purpose of a Field Care Supervisor (FCS) in our community care service is to ensure that high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered to clients in their own homes. Their role bridges the gap between care staff, clients, and management. To support with adhering to the high compliance requirements that ensures the highest standard of quality within the service.What you’ll be doing:Conduct initial assessments and regular reviews of client care plans / Risk AssessmentsPerform spot checks, quality monitoring visits, and audits to ensure compliance.Ensure packages – care delivery meets individual needs and preferencesSupervise, mentor, and support care workers in the field.Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and competency assessments.Support with introduction of staffIdentify training needs and support staff development.Support and manage rota planning and ensure adequate staffing levels.Provide emergency cover in the field if / when required / designated rotaMaintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Act as a liaison between clients, care workers, and office / management.Attend regular team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.Regular update reporting, communication and liaison with Managers and teamAchieve your targets and key performance indicators agreedEnsure Data Protection, GPDR complianceRequired Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience within care profession or similar - recruitment / administration / quality assurance, supervising staffClear understanding of responsibilities & risks surrounding confidentiality & safeguarding, and CQC regulationsExcellent communication skillsPossess strong organisational skillsAbility to work independentlyExperience/qualification/training in using IT systems and databases (Excel, Word etc.) or electronic care management systemsFirst Aid/Moving and handling, medication training – willingFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, willing to travelDesirable attributesRFQ – level 2/ 3 Health social care or social care/ healthWillingness to developEssential - Car driver and access to carYou will require the use of laptop/ computer and mobile phone as BYOD unless otherwise agreedWhat you can expect: Competitive salary with extensive rewards & benefits.Access to industry-leading training and career development opportunities.25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and option to purchase additional holiday too.Personal development funding and discount with Reed Courses.Access to Reed Reward Hub with access to wellbeing resources, gym discounts, savings with online shopping and cashback.Health cash plan giving you cashback on everyday healthcare expenses.Make a difference every day with our Community Care team, a CQC-registered provider supporting adults, children, and young people within our local community.To apply for this position, please submit your application.
