Management Accountant Felixstowe (5 days onsite with some flexibility)£40,000 per annumAn established and growing logistics business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team at its Felixstowe site. This position would suit a commercially minded accountant who is comfortable working onsite, building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, and producing clear, actionable financial insight.Responsibilities Producing monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reportingDelivering variance analysis, commentary and performance insightsSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planningPartnering with operational and commercial teams to support decision-makingAnalysing costs and margins within a fast-moving environmentAssisting with year-end processes and external reporting requirements Skills & qualifications: Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), or qualified by experienceProven experience in a management accounting roleComfortable working in an onsite, operational settingStrong Excel skills and high attention to detailExperience in logistics, transport or a similar operational sector would be beneficial but not essential The role is based onsite in Felixstowe, five days per week, with some flexibility available.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Finance Manager to support our financial operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality financial information. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports including P&L, management accounts, variance analysis, and freight forwarding revenue KPIs.Ensure timely and accurate posting of journals and accruals.Support budgeting and forecasting processes.Deliver operational reports for monthly Operations and Leadership meetings, covering invoicing accuracy, purchase query statistics, job loss analysis, and more.Provide weekly revenue versus budget updates and aged debt updates.Process recharges, upload and code credit card expenses.Support accounts payable and receivable processes.Assist and guide junior finance team members and handle day-to-day finance queries.
