We are looking to employ a confident, bubbly, dynamic individual to undertake the role of an Activities Coordinator at our Day Centre for older people with a diagnosis of dementia based in Ashton-Under-Lyne. The role is for 15 hours a week, spread across 3 days (5hrs a day) from 10am -3pm. The role consists of organizing, planning and implementing a range of stimulating activities for up to 20 people a day. As part of the role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the activities are prepared for the sessions in advance. You will also be responsible for monitoring how people engage and for adapting activities to the needs, likes and wishes of the service users.
