This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and strategic individual with a strong track record in sales and client development to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, SME environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage leads through self-sourced enquiries and networks.Lead the full sales bid and proposal process from initial contact to contract close.Build and maintain relationships with end-users, facilities managers, managing agents, and procurement consultants.Develop and execute actionable close-out plans to secure deals.Negotiate contracts at both operational and board levels to maximise profitability.Conduct site surveys and prepare asset schedules for pricing and cost estimation.Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline status using Hubspot (CRM).Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.Collaborate on bid and tender responses to enhance win rates.Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.Research market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.Represent the company at industry events to promote brand visibility.Take ownership of personal sales targets and mentor junior team members.Key AttributesStrategic thinker with tactical execution skills.Commercially astute and able to articulate value propositions effectively.Self-motivated, flexible, and highly proactive.Organised and detail-oriented with strong time management.Collaborative team player with a solutions-oriented mindset.Ethical and trustworthy, embodying the company’s SME culture.Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.Skills and CompetenciesStrong commercial acumen and client-focused approach.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Analytical and results-driven.Proficient in CRM systems and business analytics tools.Skilled in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Required Experience3–5+ years of proven success in business development or sales.Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.Experience crafting commercial proposals for varied client bases.Background in the Hard FM sector and M&E
