Business Development Manager Annual Salary: £35,000+Location: FarehamJob Type: Full-time, Office-based We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager for our successful and busy operation. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is ready to maintain and expand client relationships and ensure the growth of our operations across the UK, and abroad. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain commercial relationships with the existing client base and develop new business from customers based in the UK as well as overseasConduct face-to-face visits with customers throughout the UK and the Channel Islands, requiring regular travel.Work closely with operational teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.Focus on winning new business and working towards agreed budget targets in line with the company's growth strategy.Strengthen market position by locating, developing, defining, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' commercial sales experience, preferably in international groupage services or UK domestic distribution.Strong understanding of the international groupage market or UK domestic distribution.Proven business development skills and relationship building capabilities.Ability to independently plan and execute strategies with minimal supervision.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent interpersonal, administration, and negotiation skills.A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
