This is a newly created role within the finance department Client Details My client is a well established Manufacturing business based in the Bridgend area Description The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making processes within the Business Unit by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations. This role will involve ownership of forecasting, performance tracking, and financial management for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and driving continuous improvement in financial performance. The role of the Finance Business Partner will include; Support Decision Making: Partner with Business Unit stakeholders to appraise capital schemes and support the development of business cases for new products, initiatives, and cost-saving measures.Provide financial analysis and insights to facilitate informed decision-making, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. Forecasting Ownership: Take ownership of forecasting processes for the Business Unit, including P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts.Compile and validate the annual Budget, challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities for optimisation.Produce ad hoc forecasts as required to support decision-making and respond to changing business dynamics.
