Business Development & Sales ManagerLocation: Sawston, Cambridge (with travel across East Anglia to Oxford)Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pmContract: PermanentSalary: £40,000 per annum + commission + car allowance Restore Harrow Green is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development and Sales Manager to drive growth in our commercial and heritage relocation sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales and relationship-building skills, who thrives on generating new business, managing customer relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities in both public and private sectorsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through networking, referrals, and proactive outreachArrange appointments for the Sales Team and convert leads into sales opportunitiesDevelop cross-selling opportunities within the Restore PLC group companiesAttend networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences to build relationships and drive salesPrepare proposals and quotations, working closely with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategiesAssist in contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for the companyAct as the main point of contact for customers, delivering tailored relocation solutionsCoordinate logistics and resources for commercial and heritage relocations, ensuring seamless executionPrepare regular pipeline reports and provide updates to the Head of Business Development About You Proven experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship managementStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to research market trends and identify business opportunitiesExcellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteA proactive, results-driven approach to business growthWillingness to travel to customer sites and company branch locations as required Some of our benefits include: Annual Leave - 25 days + bank holidaysLife Assurance -2x basic annual salaryBereavement Counselling - Support during difficult timesFree Onsite ParkingEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) - Confidential counselling via Health AssuredEye Care Support - Free eye tests and up to £70 towards glasses for DSE users and drivers (includes retinal photography for drivers over 40)
