We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join their Online Shops team, supporting a range of sports clubs across the UK.This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who is confident, driven, and enjoys building relationships in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prospecting and generating new business through cold and warm leadsConducting outbound calls, emails, and research to identify opportunitiesGathering key information on potential clients (e.g. current suppliers, contract details)Setting up and maintaining online shops using a simple, user-friendly platformManaging and developing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionOverseeing the contract process, ensuring timely completion and sign-offMaintaining accurate records on CRM systemsMonitoring order progress and liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth deliveryKeeping client databases and records up to dateOccasional site visits to clients (may include evenings)Working Pattern:Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30Fully office-based roleFlexibility required for occasional evening client visitsWhat We're Looking For:Previous experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role (1-2 years desirable)Confident communicator, particularly over the phoneStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with a proactive approachGood attention to detail and organisational skillsIT literate (Microsoft Office and CRM systems)Interest in sports is advantageous but not essentialFull UK driving licence preferredOpen to strong junior candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learnSkills & Competencies:Confident and outgoing personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTarget-driven and motivatedExcellent time management and organisationTeam player with a positive attitudeHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityTraining & Development:Full training provided on systems and processesOngoing support and development opportunitiesOpportunity to build a long-term career within the businessAdditional Information:20 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)Supportive and collaborative team environmentLong-term career progression opportunities availableSalary plus commissionPlease click apply now if interested, and a consultant will be in contact.
