This position requires an experienced and skilled Senior Consultant who will be responsible from day one for shaping and configuring the business unit, acquiring projects and building the operating model to make the business unit successful.  Key Responsibilities will include:Project Acquisition and Business Development: Manage and support business development activities to win consultancy and engineering service contracts for the company.Lead or support the bidding process to acquire projects and keep ownership from bidding to delivery.Become key stakeholder for our clients in the consultancy business and grow a local and global network.Continuously monitor market and trends in the battery industry to find early opportunities and convert them to projects.Accountable for growing consultancy business for the company. Project Execution: Working directly with the client on or off-site to deliver agreed project content.Led and manage internal and external technical teams or other staff to deliver work packages against time, budget and requirements.Management of projects in terms of risks and putting the right mitigation in place.Reporting project status (technical and non-technical) to key internal and external stakeholders.Leverage internal knowledge and skills across the functions to create a high impact on client projects. Future key responsibilities: Build a team of capable and skilled consultants to deliver various projects in the field of lithium-ion battery technology from engineering to operations.Continuously improve and build capabilities and drive the growth of the business unit. Qualifications & Experience ideally required: Should have a strong academic record with analytical proficiency, a technical Degree preferred, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered.Should ideally have multiple years’ experience in the Consultancy or Engineering Services Business; better still who also has experience and/or knowledge in the Energy Storage sector and/or lithium-ion Battery technologies.You will have excellent spoken and written communication as well as strong presentation skills.Demonstrable experience in the delivery of high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements is needed.Ability to meet internal deadlines in a high-quality focused environment.High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
