Area Sales Manager – Timber WindowsJob Title: Business Development Manager – Timber WindowsIndustry Sector: Timber, Wood, Joinery, Windows, Joinery, Construction, Stairs, Builders Merchants, Regional HousebuildersArea to be covered: Large South East & Anglia – based SS, CO, CM, SG, LU, HP, ALRemuneration: £45,000-£50,000. + 20-30% BonusBenefits: Electrical Vehicle/ Hybrid Car and benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager for Timber Windows will involve:Field sales role selling a manufactured range of timber windowsPredominantly selling into builders merchants, small amount with regional housebuildersExpanding our clients’ established offering of staircase products with a relatively untapped portfolio of wooden windowsFocus on selling wooden windows (huge growth potential)Leveraging existing relationships with buying groups and national buildersTypically 16 builders merchant customer visits per weekFocus will be on growing the customer base by on boarding new builders merchant accountsTargeted to achieve 30%-40% growthIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities in line with company growth objectives.Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies.Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and proposals.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s products.Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to the National Sales ManagerThe ideal applicant will be a House Builder Area Sales Manager for Timber and Joinery with:Ideally have worked for a builders merchant in a field sales role, would consider senior sales, branch manager or assistant branch manager Ideal background is field sales experience with a builders/ timber merchant looking for first field sales role with a manufacturerOpen to all building product backgroundsKnowledge of joinery, timber, construction or windows may be advantageousProven new business development experience/ fire in the bellyExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independentlyEstablished network within the construction or building materials industry desirableExperience preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals.Knowledge of relevant building regulations and standards.Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Timber, Wood, Joinery, Windows, Joinery, Construction, Stairs, Builders Merchants, Regional Housebuilders
