Brand Manager - Paying up to £45,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Early Finish on Friday + Growing Business + Career Progression! The Company We are working with a leading eCommerce business who operate within the cosmetics/beauty industry. They have an ever expanding portfolio of brands with further new launches planned! They are a dynamic, growing business and due to continued success they are looking to add a Brand Manager to the team. This is an exciting time to join the team and progress your career further. The Role The Brand Manager will work closely with both the NPD Manager & Global Head of Brand. They will lead over-arching comms that creates/retains the brands unique position within the global marketplace and develop and deliver integrated, global marketing plans, acting as the brand guardian in key markets. Main duties include: Maintain continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trendsDefend the integrity of the brand and its proposition ensuring that the brand values, proposition and differentiating factors are protected and optimised through product development, content development and activationDevelop new NPD line extensions (and potentially brands), with recommendations around retail price point and competitive positionDevelopment of brand assets including brand & copy bible, lead campaign photography and outline marketing concepts and content that underpin the brand propositionBuild the appropriate activation of the brand/category vision and plans in primary marketsDevelop campaign content to achieve brand objectives and sales plansResponsible for go-to-market activation of the campaign content, defining the integrated marcomms plan within key marketplaces against sales targets and budgetsBuild and execute Joint Business Planning activity with strategic retail partners, alongside Distributors and Account ManagersBriefing and management of external marketing agenciesChampion instore environment. Lead, develop and execute retail strategy in local marketsMake recommendations on spend split in collaboration with the Global Head of Brand & Marketing and Sales teamReview incumbent product propositions to ensure their ongoing fit and success in market and make recommendations around portfolio / lifecycle managementRegular analysis of AYR sales in conjunction with the Sales team, and brand financial KPIs What We Are Looking For The Brand Manager should have experience in an eCommerce setting, ideally within the beauty/cosmetics industry. Ideally you will be/have: Business, Brand or Marketing related degree or similar qualificationExperience of delivering successful marketing campaigns from within the IB/beauty/lifestyle or retail industry (ideally with international experience)Experience as a Brand or Marketing ManagerDemonstrable leadership skills with a drive for results, ideally with direct line management experienceExcellent project management skillsExcellent standard of English language and mathematically astuteFully conversant with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointWorking knowledge of website CMS, knowledge of Direct Mail comms beneficialConversant in all social media platformsKnowledge and understanding of Adobe Photoshop & IllustratorExperience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate What Is on Offer The Brand Manager will receive a competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 (DOE).
