Our brand new client, based in St Ives is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner/Carpenter to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hour week. As a Bench Joiner/Carpenter, you will be responsible for cutting wood/timber to required lengths and making bespoke joinery that will be assembled on-site in the workshop. You will be required to manage multiple projects at any one time working to various deadlines. You will be responsible for accurately reading drawings, wood machining and assembly completing various projects from start to finish. This will also include making adaptations to fit clients requirements, you will ensure that stock levels are correct and report any defects in materials.
