Job Title: Assistant Bar Manager Location: Central Oxford Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: £11.96 per hour Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday Holidays: Christmas and Easter off Are you passionate about the hospitality industry? Responsibilities: - Assist the Bar Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth running of the bar - Oversee the bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies when necessary - Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks - Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws - Assist with staff training and development Requirements: - Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality environment - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent customer service abilities - Knowledge of bar operations and cocktail preparation - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.96, with a 35-hour workweek. You will work Tuesday to Saturdays having each Sun and Mon off, providing an opportunity for work-life balance. Additionally, you will enjoy a well-deserved break during the Christmas and Easter holidays.
