The role involves working with a range of laboratory equipment and performing critical tasks to support microbiology diagnostics. Key Responsibilities: Perform bacteriology-related laboratory work, including using analysers and equipmentRead and interpret culture plates for identification of bacterial pathogensSet up and execute susceptibility tests to guide treatment decisionsMaintain accurate records of tests, results, and proceduresEnsure adherence to safety and quality control standardsCollaborate with other laboratory staff and clinical teams to ensure effective workflow Requirements: Proven experience in bacteriology and microbiology techniquesKnowledge of laboratory analysers and equipmentFamiliarity with reading and interpreting culture platesExperience in setting up and performing susceptibility testsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
