Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust are looking to expand their Pharmacy department, for a new opportunity for a Band 7 Pharmacist. The pharmacy service supports staff, service users and carers to achieve safe and effective management of medicine. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: To support the Senior Lead Pharmacists for each rotation in the participation & development of clinical pharmacy services to clinical rotational areas.To deliver a comprehensive medicines management and optimisation service to Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I FT) patients and the multidisciplinary treatment team responsible for their care.To provide input into policy and procedures affecting the use of pharmaceuticals at both local and trust wide levels under the direction of the Lead Pharmacist.To work closely with dispensary staff to support an effective dispensing and supply service.To undertake QI training to support the delivery of the C&I QI and Medicines Audit programmes. To deputise for the Lead Pharmacist in their absence. To be successful in applying for this role you will need: Membership with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.Experience of provision of Medicines Information and associated systems.Experience within Mental Health is essential.Hospital experience, at least one year’s worth of experience.
