More than 160 million units per year across 600 different product lines for customers such as Morrisons, Tesco & Asda What you'll be doing The role of the Quality Assurance Auditor is: Monitor and audit CCPs (Critical Control Points), their checks and recordsMonitor & audit pre-requisite systems and control procedures forming part of the site QMS.Audit personnel, environment & equipment hygiene standards prior to and during production. Carry out investigative swabs to monitor hygiene standards and investigate out of specification results.Conduct internal audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with procedures and standards and continually improve in line with industry best practices & customer requirements.Conduct in-house audits to ensure compliance.Carry out trend analysis of site information (non-conformances, complaints, out of spec results, internal foreign bodies etc.) and use to target improvements.Investigate, communicate & implement corrective action following internal or external non-conformances, or out of specification micro results, nutritional results, customer complaints etc.Action quality and process improvements, carrying out investigations, traceability, liaising with other departments / suppliers to ensure non-compliances are closed fully & followed up.Monitor and audit start up checks to ensure issues are resolved within risk assessed & agreed timescales, liaising with relevant departments (taking photo standards, updating documents when new machinery introduced).Carry out coaching, training and ongoing education of factory personnel at all levels in relation to food safety & quality systems. We are seeking an Internal Compliance Auditor to ensure our client's practices, records, and controls meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements. This role is integral to maintaining their commitment to quality and excellence. Day to Day of the role: Plan and conduct monthly quality audits on fee earners to verify compliance with regulations and accreditation requirements.Perform risk assessments and evaluate internal controls, reporting any discrepancies.Maintain a quality log for all audits, identifying trends and training needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to calibrate audits, implement best practices, and enhance performance.Analyse historical data to develop quality improvement initiatives and strategies.Evaluate audit findings and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions in conjunction with supervisors.Manage firm-wide performance through effective communication and contributions to team meetings.Interpret regulatory requirements and quality standards, ensuring compliance.Conduct both random and focused audits in a timely manner.Prepare comprehensive quality reports for presentation to senior management, including all necessary documentation.Assist the Head of Risk and Compliance and COLP with external audit preparations, accreditations, and compliance assessments.Monitor and execute remedial actions following external audit recommendations.Stay abreast of the latest sector regulations and best practices in internal auditing.
