Electrical Engineer
Job purpose We are seeking an Engineer who will be a qualified electrician, carrying out site surveys and minor works installations at commercial EV charging locations, as well as pro-actively maintaining existing equipment on EVC’s sites. Our Electrical Engineers work across the UK however this particular position covers London and surrounding areas. Duties and responsibilities Carry out in-depth site surveys to assess for available power allowing for the completion of accurate, high quality quotes and estimatesWork pro-actively with Sales and Account Management to manage surveys and site visits for installationsWork with Customer Services to provide pro-active and re-active maintenance on existing sitesMinor works installationsCommissioning of both A.C and D.C chargepointsQuality assurance reports on our sub-contractors installationsTest and inspection using NICEIC portalAct as a brand ambassador and representing EVC at site visits Skills and experience Experience working with large scale commercial/industrial building supply and understanding of how to utilise this supply to suit our installations - EPrevious experience installing electric vehicle charging points whether commercial or domestic - EMaintenance Engineer experience - EUnderstanding of a wide variety of commercial electrical installationsCommunication is key both with the office and while dealing with clients as a EVC representativeDrive, commitment, and desire to learn and progress in a fast-paced changing industryPro-active, and responsive approach to all workTeam player, positive attitude Qualifications City and Guilds 18th Edition - E2391 Test And Inspection - EFull, clean driving licence - E2396 Electrical Design Course - DECS/CSCScardholder - D2919-01 EV Charger Course - D (E - Essential, D - Desirable) Additional Fully remote cover London and surrounding areasFull-time
