Audio Visual Senior Onsite Engineer
Role Overview: proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally. Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior Onsite AV Engineer to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite at a leading Global Asset Management Company, taking full responsibility for 2nd line break fix responsibilities within the London Headquarters. One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation in London who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services and training. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Proactively troubleshoot and remediate AV faults using established diagnostic techniques, repair or replace items as required Take full responsibility for maximising uptime of the estates audio visual unified communication systems Reporting faults and managing ticket queues to facilitate hardware repairs and replacements Liaising with in-house teams and wider proAV departments to secure critical spares and loan replacements Take ownership and responsibility for the management and tracking of critical spares onsite Communicate and coordinate on-site with clients, facility owners, general contractors, and associated trades as required to complete AV fixes and provide regular updates on tickets and reports Ratify AV services according to system documentation, industry standards and best-practices Preventative Maintenance support as required To ensure all process are compliant with client and proAV policies including security, HSE, Quality and Corporate and Social Responsibility Report break-fix key management updates to site managers To provide fault reporting to relevant teams A passion for service excellence, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in all current audio-visual technologies The ability to use your initiative and solve problems effectively Provide remote technical support to regional offices Desirable skills: Minimum of three years corporate experience Extensive knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies Extensive knowledge of Event spaces including audio, video and lighting equipment in both digital and analogue Ability to multitask and work under pressure and to deadlines Remain client facing and calm under pressure Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organizational skills Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a "can-do" attitude Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels Ability to use own initiative wherever needed About Us: proAV designs, integrates and supports blended technology solutions with AV, UC and beyond including end-to-end services and 24/7/365 support to enhance global collaboration and empower your world of communication.
