The Associate Structural Engineer Role and Responsibilities The successful Structural Engineer will work on new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, low-rise housing, public buildings, and healthcare, responsibilities include: Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion.Provide technical leadership and ensure design quality across the team.Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and manage project resources.Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact.Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.Contribute to fee proposals, bids, and business development activities.Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and BIM protocols.Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.Represent the practice at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
