Accountancy & Tax Associate Salary: £25k - £32k (DOE & qualifications)Location: Liverpool or ManchesterHours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (1-hour lunch)Contract: Full-time, permanentBenefits: Enhanced Package About the Opportunity A well-established and rapidly growing professional services firm is seeking an ambitious Accounting & Tax Associate to join their supportive and collaborative team of 20. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in an accountancy practice who wants to develop their technical knowledge and progress within a highly reputable firm. You’ll work closely with Senior Associates, Client Managers, and Partners across a diverse portfolio of clients, gaining hands-on exposure to accounting, tax, and advisory work. Role Overview As an Accounting & Tax Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of: Year-end statutory accountsCorporation Tax computations and returnsVAT returnsBookkeeping for a range of clientsSelf-Assessment Tax Returns (individuals & partnerships)Company secretarial tasks You will complete work under the guidance of senior team members while building your confidence and technical capability.
