Job Title: Assistant Headteacher with Teaching Responsibilities Location: Woodside Park, Penge, London Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent, Term Time only As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher with Teaching Responsibilities to join our close-knit team at Woodside Park, part of Acorn Education. About the role The Assistant Headteacher will take lead responsibility for ensuring the best possible curriculum offer, provision, well-being, progress and achievement for all pupils through careful monitoring and holding staff to account for the progress their pupils make. As part of their Teaching Responsibilities, they will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop, supported by the school and Outcomes First Group’s national support team. Essential Experience of Ofsted framework and inspectionExperience of working with pupils/young people with Autism Spectrum Condition / Challenging behavioursExperience of managing staffExperience of leading one or more curriculum areasAbility to motivate a team and individualsExcellent organisation and time management skillsExcellent knowledge of safeguarding proceduresExcellent communication skills, verbal and written Qualifications QTS or QTLSNationally Recognised DegreeNPQ or working towards Why join Acorn Education?
