Teaching Assistant Immediate startCompetitive rates of payIdeal for a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This will be a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post. Working hours at the school for a Teaching Assistant are 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to: Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situationsWorking with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified Leading small group sessions and interventions Attending to students' personal needs when requiredSupporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
