Duties Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine the scope of work. Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and overheads. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints. Conduct market research to gather current pricing information for materials and services. Identify potential risks and opportunities within projects that may affect costs. Maintain accurate records of estimates, including changes and revisions. Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid documents and presenting estimates to clients. Assist in the development of cost control measures to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
