We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Semi-Skilled Engineering Assistants to join Pump Supply and Repair Group. This role offers the valuable opportunity to develop your skills working on a range of equipment by supporting the engineering team in the repair, maintenance, and assembly of various pumps, motors, and related equipment. We're looking for someone to provide hands-on technical support and a proactive attitude to assist engineers and technicians in the daily operations of the workshop. Key Responsibilities Perform basic mechanical tasks under the supervision of senior staff, such as dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling pump components.Help with the testing and inspection of pump systems post-repair to ensure functionality and safety.Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance of workshop equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workshop, including handling tools, machinery, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness by ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment.Maintain accurate records of work completed, including documentation of parts used and work hours.Support stock control activities, such as receiving parts, cataloguing and organising inventory, and loading/unloading pump systems and components for delivery and installation. About the Role This Semi-Skilled Engineering Assistant role offers regular hours: 39 hours, working Monday to Thursday, 08.00 - 16.30, and Friday, 08.00 - 15.30, including a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
