We're looking for a competent Assistant Structural Engineer to join a growing team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. Working as an Assistant Structural Engineer you will: Design & Analysis: Develop structural designs for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.Technical Excellence: Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. In order to be considered for this Assistant Structural Engineer position: Qualifications: A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in structural engineering, with a solid background in design and analysis of various structural systems.Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, Tekla) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to engineering problems.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and team members.Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred, as site visits will be part of the role.
