The Role As Account Director, you’ll hold full accountability for service delivery, financial performance, and customer relationships across this prestigious contract. Leading both resident and mobile teams, you’ll drive operational excellence, ensure contractual compliance, and proactively develop strong customer partnerships that create new opportunities for growth. This is a highly visible leadership role, where you’ll shape the strategic direction of the account, showcase technical innovation, and deliver an exceptional service that matches the stature of the venue.   Key Responsibilities Full ownership of financial performance including gross profit, WIP, and aged debt. Ensure contract KPIs/SLAs are achieved, with regular performance reviews. Develop and deliver a bespoke customer relationship programme, enhancing satisfaction and creating work-winning opportunities. Lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure service excellence and succession planning. Oversee optimum staffing levels and resource planning to match service needs. Manage project works and coordinate with our wider business capabilities where required. Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are rigorously maintained. Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice across the account.   What we are looking for We’re looking for a proven Account Director or senior FM professional with: Experience managing large-scale contracts with significant financial responsibility. A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Leadership skills with the ability to develop, inspire, and retain high-performing teams. Commercial acumen and experience in identifying and developing new opportunities. A background in M&E/FM services, with a strong technical understanding. Within this new permanent position, the chosen candidate will be expected to work on-site from our client’s London office. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects.-Competitive salary ranging from £100,000-£120,000 (depending on experience).-Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities.Responsibilities:-Manage the deign and delivery process within a variety of large-scale electrical projects, whilst assisting with business planning and technical delivery. -Hold responsibility for the project’s finances, managing cost proposals, ensuring that budgets are being complied with whilst promoting profitability. -Lead and guide engineering teams, helping to ensure that all work maintains high quality, compliance and overall progression. -Ensure effective communication, leadership, and overall business progression to build and maintain rapport with clients.-Supply other professionals with technical input, to ensure the project aligns with the regulations and requirements, by conducting investigations and assessments. -Act as company representation in client and industry gatherings, promoting thought leadership by developing presentations and white papers.Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical or Building Services, or in a related field. -Working towards, or at, a charted status (MIEE, CEng, or MCIBSE), is ideal. -Prior experience working as an Electrical Technical Director, or a similar role, with an understanding of electrical systems across a variety of building structures. -Proficient understanding of current regulations, Building Services principles, and relevant legislation (e.g. Health and Safety).-Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, with knowledge of handling global projects.
