Our client a well known organisation within the utilities industry are actively looking to hire an Oracle Architect to support their growing business with an upgrade of their Customer Care & Billing systems (Oracle). Location: Hybrid Working - Durham & Home Duration: 6 Months + Rates: Competitive - Inside IR35 (Umbrella Company) Job Responsibilities: As the the experienced Architect you will will work as part of the wider delivery team on the CC&B Upgrade Project, to supporting the project scoping phase. You will be able to Analysis/Scoping, Requirements, Options, Planning, Design & Architecture to support the wider upgrade and advise/make suggestion on the best methods, technologies and approaches to the CC&B upgrade. You will provide specialise technical expertise in key functional and technical areas throughout planning phase, defining the relevant options and implications of each option in respect to technical complexity of an upgrade project. Part of the scoping will also take in to account emerging business requirements, any gaps/issues with the current product, and an analysis of new features or technical improvements in new product version options for consideration. Work closely with key stakeholder, Product Managers throughout the upgrade programme and be hands on throughout the process. Key deliverable will be to describe project objectives, different upgrade options including versions, or on-premise vs Customer Cloud Service deployment.
