Looking for a transport planner to support a busy transport office. Ensuring effective planning and scheduling of jobs and all compliance. Description You will be supporting a busy transport function ensuring smooth operation of scheduling and planning of vehicles. Liaising across internal teams and vehicle operators. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring all jobs are planned effectivelyPreparing comprehensive jobs packsProcessing material movementsAll company and client paperwork is correctly completedChecking, processing and filing paperworkEnsuring all compliance with VOSA and Working Time RegulationsUploading and analysing driver informationProcessing invoices Profile We're seeking an experienced transport / logistics planner with exceptional attention to detail. You will be enthusiastic with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team to deliver in a busy and fast moving environment. The successful applicant will have: Good technical knowledge of MS applications and logistics software applications The ability to communicate at all levels across a businessExcellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and be agile in problem-solving.Excellent administration skills Due to the location of the site access by public transport is limited and therefore applicants are advised to have their own transport for which free parking is available on site. Job Offer Competitive salary, holiday entitlement, and pension contribution.This is a four on four off work pattern early morning shift.40 hours a week.
